Hi Santosh!

By Now, you would have recd plenty of good questions to ask about. But my suggestions is that, even though u carry a formal exit interview with questionnaires ready, again take time to meet your employee before he leaves ur organisation.

This time have a casual approach towards him asking about his family and then towards his future career. I would recommend you to take a 360 degree feedback from him about everyone he knows in the organisation completely.

Hi,

You may want to ask questions like the following:
1. What incident was instrumental in your decision to quit?
2. Would you ever recommend people to work for this company ?
3. What according to you re the strenghts and weaknesses in this company?

Hope this helps.

3. How he feels about the culture in organisation?
4.What does the employee think about the management and values of organisation?
4.Does he feel his contributions have been rewarded?
5. Does he feel that he has obtained growth in organisation?
6. Would he/she refer his /her acquintance to work in the organisation?

Hi Santosh
Exit management can basically be steered through following sample questions
- Reasons for leaving
- Anything done to stop the candidate in course of parting away with the company (anything offered or discussed)
- What as per you could have been done to avoid you taking this decision
- Ask him about how much was he in sync with his job content and question him on specific HR systems of the co. - did he find any issues.
- Ask on open door policy etc.

Hope it helps.

In the exit interview, you can ask:

What could have we done in order to retain you?

What did you like the most/least about the organization?
