First have an appraisal policy.
decide the type of appraisal which can be applicable to your organization. It could be two level, three level or even 360 degree.
Train the appraise, appraisor and the reviewer about the appraisal system and the process of appraisal system.
Then start appraisal system

hi,

appraisals should be done b hr people along with respecting Managers in the company, hr has to prepare the formats and should discussion with manager then they should do go employees

in appraisals form employees analyse the form and he himself has to fill the form and submit to manager and manager has to analyse the form he should give review about his performance, goals achievments etc.

doing appraisals to the employees is very imprtant and mandatory in corporate culture

Hi Ankita,

For getting appraisals for the employees of your organisation, if you are an HR, you must first generate a good appraisal form where different criterias are mentioned related to the employee's performance like for executive level employees the following criteria can be taken.
1. Planning Capability
2. Leadership
3. Inter Personal Relationship
4. Cost Consciousness
5. Time Management
6. Achievements

And after that mention some area of improvement where the immediate boss wants to improve in an individual's performance.

For Managerial level employees the following Criteria can be taken
1. Planning & Execution
2. Vendor Relations
3. System Compliance & Improvement
4. Leadership accumen
5. Regularity & Reliability
6. Cost Consiousness
7. Time Management

Same for this level also, if improvement is required, mention areas where the improvement required.

Regards

prepare a questionnaire on 1-5 scale base and ask the project managers/ line managers to rate each employees and give their feedback.

you can also ask top management to review the same and decide accordingly the percentage based on company's standards.

Hi,

You can start with Knowing the JD's of employees and the standards for Performance.

Once the Standards are Set, Measure the performance of employees at par with the standards.

The Gap between the standards and the existing performance will give you the output.

Thanks

Shaan

First identify the areas which are most essential components for appraisal. This you can do by involving people directly.

Firstly you start from take the count of your employees. According to that prepare a questionnaire for employees, employye reporting manager, subordinates. Ask how many tasks given howmany he completed in time, how is his behaviour with all in working environment, you just prepare and pass to all people n after getting the status you can evaluate the performance........
