Dear All,


i am working in a private firm as sr. executive Hr. recently PF officials visited our establishment. when he was going thru our salary register, he qeueried about the spl allowance which was higher than the basic salary. also telling that this will also attract PF & the co. is not remitting it.   now i have to explain them that this is not the wages and will not attract for PF. if i have to give in writing please let me know if any of the person have faced the problem how it can be sorted out. is there any draft in this regard so that we can explain them.

So please help me out and send me if any draft in this regard.

please its very urgent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Employees' Provident Fund Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi and EPF authorities of Pune, Gurgaon, Goa, Newdelhi and Bangalore have upheld that the remittance of Contributions i.e. on the Basic Wages is absolutely within the statutory provisions of EPF & Misc Act in this regards.

This is legal opinion by Mr K Kasturi of M/S Kasturi Associates.

Friend, you can also reply on the above lines to PF authorities.
