Job Enrichment Technique can be applied to increase the level of responsibility of the employee .It will give the employee additional authority, autonomy and control over the way the job is accomplished. Job Rotation is another technique through which employees are moved between two or more jobs in a planned manner. This will expose the employees to different experiences and they acquire wider variety of skills enhancing the job satisfaction.
The repetitive tasks involve boredom, lack of interest in work and carelessness. So a certain amount of variety must be provided to keep the employee interested in the job. Job Enlargement Techniques/ Job Simplification Techniques are applied depending on the nature of work. The Job enlargement techniques are applied to increase the number of tasks in a job to add greater variety to activities. Necessary training is to be provided. This will reduce the monotony. Job Simplification technique, on the other hand, involves breaking up of a task into simple tasks aiming at greater productivity through reduced application of mental and/or physical effort.
Often the insecure feeling and fear among the employees result in the poor feedback from them. An environment has to be created where employees feel secure so that proper feedback is received, based on which the job design may be prepared.
