Dear All My colleague is working with an export company as Asstt. manager HR since last near about one year and he has resigned from the position(there is no appointment letter served to him yet)and self give him 10days notice period. There resignation neither accepted nor rejected by the HOD & Directors (resigna5tion mailed to HOD & CC to trio Directors); HOD show his intention to accept the resignation with condition one month notice but he did not reply through mail.
So please suggest, what should he to do

Dear Dhananjay,
If no appointment letter/offer letter/contract letter is signed between the employer and employee, there is no question on any liabilties/service conditions on either party.
Second, if any company is allowing someone to work there without appointment letter for more than one year clearly shows that the company you are talking about is very unorganized and there is no employment standard which they follow. It is the whim of the seniors which prevails.
Its very difficult to deal with such type of employers. Employees cant do much as nothing is signed between the two.
Your friend has two options. 1.) Serve the notice as asked by the HOD.
2.) Leave the company without caring for experience letter etc.
