Can anybody help me on the clause of the SHOPS & ESTABLISHMENTS ACT? I need to know the clause for leave, to frame a policy on the same.

Requesting you to kindly share the general & leave policy followed in your company.

Shops and Establishment act is a state enactment. You need to specify the state where your organisation is operational.

e.g Bombay shops and establishment act pertains to Maharashtra.

Dear aladin, 

You can refer to Bare Act. It will give u a clear idea of registration of an establishment. Opening/Closing hours or an establishment, Leave with/without wage, spread over etc.

This Law has been enacted to protect the workers in Resturant, Theatres and other places of public amusement, Commercial Establsihments, Shops, Eating Place, Residential Hotels and that regulates the working hour and terms and condition of labour and whom to employ and whom not to employ.
