Dear everybody,

My organisation is planning an Employee Fun Day. I have to think of activities for that day.

We need to keep into consideration that these should be:

- Team building activites
- Have lots of fun and learning as well
- Ensure 100% participation

Please suggest some team building games etc...

Are you inviting only the employees or also their family members? Inviting their family members would also give a big boost to the employees.

If in case you are inviting only employees, You can think of going to an amusement park or a resort....which have lots of excitements.

Start from naming the event like "Masti" and give a small invitation card to all the employees (provided if the strength is in permissible limits) mentioning that the event has been arranged at so and so place on so and so date and mention the objective of the whole event etc....

The same team should be there, as how it is in the organisation.

- Start with a game
- Presentation (on Team Work)
- Another Game
- Presentation
- Questionnaires etc

You can also include a "Voice Out" session for the employees, who can express his/her views about his team mates. Whats so good about the team and whats "not so good" about the team etc and how we can be a better team etc

Hope this helps.... ; )

Jitesh

Dear shantanu

In case it is only for employees, you have to follow a different concept and if families are involved then a different one. If only employees are invited you can have a play related to the organisation(fun), can have some open discussions, and some management games too.

If families are involved you can arrange for some celebrity (within limits), arange few games for children, dance floor for couples and the organisation concept in a simple way in form of games so that families can take part (i have done this) ...it works!!!

Naming the event is obviously the most important thing..which attracts people...

Finally a thank you gift..if your budget allows!!!!

Hope it works...

Warm Regards

srini
