Here is a small story which speaks of itself. Hope you all will like it.
A man was on his death bed. He prayed to God that he would want to have a look at his entire journey of life before breathing his last. A noble soul that he was, GOD came personally to him and said, “My child, I will take you through the time that you spent while being on earth.”
The man soon saw that a wide canvas screen had unfolded in front of his eyes and he started seeing journey of his life begining from childhood. The scenes kept on changing as his life journey moved on.
After seeing for a while, the man asked GOD, “Oh God, I am seeing two pairs of footprints as I traversed my life. I can understand that one pair of footprints is mine but who was the other person walking with me ?” GOD replied, “My dear child, during your entire journey of life, I was with you. The other footprints that you are seeing are mine.”
As the scenes were changing on the canvas, the man was keenly watching the journey of his life. Suddenly he noticed something. He asked , ”Oh GOD, do you notice one thing? During this period, I am seeing only one pair of footprints. You just now told me that you were with me all my life. How is it that you left me alone during this part of my life ?”
GOD replied, “My dear child, this was the most difficult period of your life.” The man asked GOD ,”so in my difficult days, you also left me ?”
GOD smiled and said, “In view of the difficulties that you were facing, I had lifted you up in my arms. The one pair of footprints that you are seeing is mine.” Saying this, GOD kept his loving hand on the head of the man and the man breathed his last peacefully. Thanks
