Hi,

We have been implementing competency based staff appraisal system in different organizations. The system is unique and has following benefits:

The system integrates organizational objectives into the HR systems It provides objective criteria for staff selection, training and development, salary increment, promotion and deployment and helps to improve staff performance

Helps individuals to identify their development needs and work on it

Also the assessment tools do not need highly speciallized training, and can be effectively used by the executives in the organization.
