Dear All, 
 
Please advise for the case that your employee will  resign after attending training.  Is it ethic if we say that he should transfer  knowledge and implement the training before he left  the company? 
 
To reduce this case, We plan to make the regulation  that employee must sign agreement that he must stay  in company min 12 months after attending traininig.  is any one had done this.???

Hi,

Where I work, all employees are required to sign a document where they commit to staying 2 years after attending training or paying it back pro-rata...meaning that he they stay 1 year, they pay back half of the cost.

Many companies do insist and execute a BOND / AGREEMENT with the trainee but the end result, in most of the cases, stand to be disappointing. They show scant respect to the management, besides showing evasive approach by frequently absenting etc. The prime reason being their lookout for greener pausters. In my view, no readymade solution is available to overcome this problem, which most of the companies do face, after incurring substantial money towards training. You may try and best of luck. Pl do not forget, there are instances, wherein the trainees have steppedinto legal recourse as well.
