The Compensation of CEO are close to similar in different industries. Should it be the same means does it differ as per industry ? why? and if shouldn't why?

Dear jayesh,

I think compensation takes into account your SAK ( skills, abilities and Knowledge) As regards to compensating a CEO , the deliverables will be a determination of quantum.

Industries may play a factor because of the verticalised experience or domain specific expertise, the industry demand/supply economics also will be another factor.
