Hello,

I sincerely request you alI to help regarding Organisational Climate survey.

Are there any standard formats? Also is it possible for anyone to share a sample report / final result format that can be offered to the client as a snapshot of the final Climate survey report?

Any other help or inputs in terms of write-ups, material, standard forms/formats etc. will be most useful.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Jigar

Dear Jigar,

I had done the benchmarking of 3 orgs few months ago.

Some tips for you..

1. Some of the Qs should be asked Positively as well as Negatively to gauge the correct response fr. the emps.

2. Always have some open ended Qs towards the end of the questionnaire like.. "I would Best describe my organisation as... " OR

" Given a choice I would like to change the following in this organisation "

3. Consider % of employees who are traveling. Their responses on some Qs may be v. imp. e.g. Assistance / Efficiency of Syst. & procedures of the org. while on Tour etc.

4. It is recommended to have 3 or 5 point rating scale for the Questionnaire.

Hope this info. helps...

I have some following scrupling about this...

1) Regards to Compensation - Most of the employees (up to middle level Management) take it as a opportunity to convey their demand to Top Management & even the compensation is good - the member's feedback is not so positive - I take this as human nature

2) If the survey is conducted on Email or some other Software related systems - Employees may or may not give genuine feedback

It is better to take on hard copy -

3) How to convince Employees that Action Will be taken on this Survey base - Please do not misunderstood this - I mean even some time feedback is very correct - however, we in HR know the constraints to implement this - It can be anything - internal / external

4) Do we conduct this Survey on periodic basis - at least once in Two/ Three years & also make these Survey results public immediately along with the Action Plan - to retain the employee's TRUST in this process.

5) If the Organization is big - say employing more than 1000 members - having three/ four factories then what is better

a) to conduct the Survey separately in different Factories
b) to conduct the Survey across all Organization

6) Should Workers be considered in this process ? - Penetrating the constraints like Language, intellectual, their Mindset etc..

Do revert with ur Views..

thanks & regards,

Davender
