Jac, A lot of people do such things all the time. But I dont think there is anything much you can do. Legally it is not possible to punish unless the person is absconding with some material from your premises. I am sure you are aware that for any person who joins an organisation, there is a set of joining formalities to be completed. These include instructions on termination of services by either side. Please check that clause to see if there is anything that is specified about taking legal action against an employee and whether that person has signed it off as accepted. Regards Priya J |
