Dear jim, Pay generally means salary earned after performance. Pay also means, salary fixed based on the performance in the interview. Whcih one u are referring to. If u mean salary earned after performance, it is payment by results which is calculated based on Job Evaluation. If u mean salary fixed based on performance in the Test/Interview, then it is based on Pschometrics. However, in both the cases,mathematical calculations are involved.
