Things I need to know are: - What value does it hold for those who work for Indian Companies - Is it recognized in India - Jon prospects after the certification - Any study materials you can pass on - Any tips/ tricks to clear the exam
Awaiting your valuable inputs.
Keep those informative emails coming.

Sudesh, Certifications from SHRM like PHR, GPHR & SPHR will be useful only if you are working in multinational environments where they recognize these degrees. Especially I have observed that these certifications will be a lot more helpful if you are in HR Consulting or Research related fields. Otherwise experience is the lone thing that matters the most in India. For sure not to mention, your academics will be like toppings on the cake... Cheers! Radhika |

Hello All,
Can some one tell me about the -
1.valid HR certifications which enhance professional credibility -
SPHR...how relevant is it for an indian hr professional, how would it help an indian hr person? what are the contents like?
2. Forums like ASTD or SHRM whats the membership cost and how much helpfull is it.
3. Any other platform which can add value to a hr person.
Would be great if someone can respond on the above..or even pass your contact number so that i can clarify telephonically with any of you.
