Hi, 
We are planning to frame a policy on Birhdays. Do any of your organisation have a policy on Birthdays? If yes, can you please send a copy of your policy?

Hi everyone,

We do not have a Birthday policy as such.

We have a online HR Portal wherein every employee will have a username and password. Everytime the employee logs in, before the homepage,  there will be a birthday greeting. Each time of log in, different type of colourful greetings will be displayed. 

Apart from this,  the homepage will list out the names of the birthdays and anniversaries of the employees everyday based on which employee's will be sending their greetings through mail or in person.

Hi All,

 

We have a policy of celebrating birthdays is as follows

1) we send a comman mail including all the employees brthdays in a particular month

2) we give them a card which is been signed from all MT members

3) we have a get together at 4pm usually, order cake and snaks which is sponsored by company.

The complete birthdays celebrants name for a particular month are sent to all HODs by the last day of the previous month. Apart from the same these are displayed on the staff notice boards too. In above to these HR prepares birthday card for all the birthday celebrants for the particular month at company expense(designed with company logo), signed by HR and GM and pass it to the concerned department head. The department head distributes the same card to the employee on his/her birthday after getting signature from all the other team mates. cake cutting is also done at the department level. The contribution for the same is taken by the department staff.

On the birthday, wishes for the particular staff is put on the staff notice board with their pictures on it. Other staffs are allowed to write their wishes and comments on the same. This sheet containing the wishes are handed over to the concerned staff on the next day. In addition to this, a birthday celebration for all the birthday celebrants is conducted at the end of the month where GM, all HODs and staff attend. Company sponsored birthday gift is handed over to all the celebrants along with cake cutting. One or two cultural programmes from the staff along with some internal games  are also conducted during the same time.  The photos of the birthday party are posted on the staff notice board.

we send email to everyone regarding birthday and end of the month we celebrate birthday by cutting the cake
