my responses are as below :

1. These are certainly helpful - if they used in right perspective i.e. they are used to evaluate what they are suposed to do best.

2. It is certainly as it validates evaluation by using an objetive tool.

3. They are - as they were mostle developed after spending lot of time/money/efforts in research.

4. Thomas profiling for recruitment and training MBTI - for training/team formation/improving interpersonal effectiveness.

Dear marcus,

1. Yes, it is quite helpful in recruitment, training, aprraisals, competency measurement and much more. The desired profile for a particular position should be drawnfirst and each candidate's profile should be subsequently matched with the desired profile.

2. Yes, BPS is an aid to manual evaluation. it can be used as a scientific measurement.

4. Thomas profiling system is a popular model used for Behaviour Profiling. Its a UK based company and has their Indian operations based at Bangalore.

Hope this helps you.

Best regards
Benny
