   Change over from manual to online tests

Hi everybody,

I on behalf of the Indian Air Force thank you all for the wonderful articles that are put on this forum for us to read. 

I am on a project for Reengineering the entire "Recruitment and Selection process" and "Information Management of the Selection process" in the Indian Air Force, in the Officers Cadres.

We intend bring this change  to reduce the manual effort and
to keep abreast with the corporate world.

I would ask the members to post their suggestions especially in relations to management of the following subjects.

1.   Advertisement on the internet
2.   Hosting of Online applications / downloadable applications/ OMR applications / Normal typewritten applications uploaded through OCR technology.
3.   Intimation and dispatch to the candidates through Email and SMS
4.   An interactive website where candidates can log in and view information pertaining only to themselves and select the dates at predetermined places would like to appear for online pre-selection tests.
5.   Conducting of Online Tests....at designated test centers. Any experts already conducting such tests...we are looking for your suggestions
6.   Biometric registration and identification of candidates
7.   Managing Electronic dossiers containing complete data related to one candidate and his/her entire profile, Qualifications, References, Test results etc.
8.  Intigrating data after the complete Services Selection Board Process which includes tests such as Psychological Tests, Group Tests, Interviews etc.

Any other suggestions related to any of the above activities are welcome.
