If a company is registered under Professional Tax act and all employees are paid salary, than whether it should be registered under the Labour Act or not. According to me any company should have all legal registration done, but when i had discussion with one of my friend on the same topic he says it is not necessary.

Need Your Views on this.

Regiseration under PT does not devoid a comapny for registeration under Factories Act or Shop and Establishment Act. Rather in these legislation registeration is MUST.

Dear Paru,

The company should be registered under these Acts,

1. Shops and Establishment Act
2. PF Act, If number of employees is 20 or more than 20
3. ESI Act, If number of employees is 20 or more than 20
4. Professionals Tax Act,
