Well the easiest way is to calculate as below Step 1 - Note down the total count of employees you had at the start of the month. (Say 100 employees) Step 2 - to the above add the no. of new joinees (e.g 20 new joinees) Step 3 - Note Down the no. of resignations during the month. (e.g 5 resignations) Step 4 - Calculate Closing Headcount i.e. (Opening Count +New Jinees during the month-Resignations during the month) . That is to say 100+20-5= 115 So the Closing headcount is 115. So Attrition Rate = No. of Resignations*100/ closing headcount i.e to say 5*100/115 = 4.34% thus for the above example the attrition rate is 4.34%. |
