Hi, I would like to how effective is Pyschometric tools (DISC/MBTI /FIRO B etc) for Recruitment. My organization earlier used DISC profile / Assessment, although I havent seen it in use nowadays. To me psychometric results can at best be an 'indicator' of how a person may react in a given situation. But is this 'indicator' good enough? I have seen a couple of incidents within the organisation where the psychometric result of the candidate matched with the profile for the required job and yet they were sacked later (after abt 6-8 months) for grossly violating company policies. |
