As per me the top three agendas for the Manager's are -

1. Execution of the strategies to ensure the business.

2. Synchronization of the employees goals with the organisation goals.

3. Continuous fueling of Interpersonal relationship.

Dear Friend

Manager needs to first know the business well for which they are working. Not knowing the business will put them on back seat and make them appear paper pusher and complaince personnel

 

managers shoud proactively particpate in business objectives meeting and capturing the needs to fulfill the business objectives at the stage when it is conceptualsied and not get a action plan and be implementor of these plan

Managers shoudl keep pulse of the culture and its effects of short term and longterm objectives, shoudl timely intervene to do course correction

Agenda for manager must be clear to him as well as others those who have to work on it, under his supervision.Strategies must be in sequencial manner plus having backup plan it any step will not working as per accept way.In addition agenda must be crystel clear to all so that everyone procced and further give thier inputs as well.
