Can anyone guide me for difference between payroll and compensation.?

Dear

All the elements that have become a part of CTC need not reflect in Payroll. One example is Insurance premium for the medical facility for the employees and dependants. CTC reflects the cost being incurred by the company for the employee. Payroll reflects the salary that is being given to the employee. To give further details in some companies the space cost is being included in the employee CTC. I presume this address your query.
