Re: absenteeism
For any kind of absenteeism, whether authorised or unauthorised and for which management felt it un acceptable, employee shall be advised for first two occassions. If repeats the act, warning shall be given. But under Industrial standing orders, warning, suspension and dismissals are punishments and before punishing any employee he has to be given a chance to put his say before management which is a principal of natural justice. Issuing a direct warning letter is not a proper disciplinery action.
