Dear all

I am working in an IT company. We have an onsite Deputation Agreement in place. Recently some of the new starters have started lot of objection on the same. can you please advise what other IT companies are following. I am stating major points on which new starters have objection:-

1) If you go onsite for less than 15 days, you should not take any assignment for 6 months. In case of breaking the same you will have to pay company INR 50,000

2) If you go onsite for more than 15 days and up to 29 days, you should not take any assignment for 12 months. In case of breaking the same you will have to pay company INR 100,000.

3) If you go onsite for more than 30days, and up to 89 days, you should not take any assignment for 18 months. In case of breaking the same you will have to pay company INR 100,000

4)  If you go onsite for more than 90days, you should not take any assignment for 24 months. In case of breaking the same you will have to pay company INR 100,000.

Please advise if we need to change our onsite deputation agreement. what terms other IT companies are practicing? Is onsite agreement practiced in all IT companies

Your valuable input shall be highly appreciated.

Regards

Shalini
