Dear All, Greetings !!
I have a small query. There are thousands of members (my assumption) on this website community. So, then why they are silent? What they are gaining by being Silent? I understand that we are having members, not only from India but also from other countries. I understand that there are members, who are having more than 15 yrs of experience then why they are silent? Are they afraid of losing their knowledge? I have a read in my school, "Knowledge is a wealth, which cannot be stolen; the more you give the more you will gain".
I hope the purpose of this community is to bring professionals within the HR, coaching and training fields together to share information and best practices with one another for the benefit of those we work with, our own professional development, and the improvement of our fields.
Is it possible that some silent members are silent because they consider there to be little personal benefit in participating in dialogues demonstrating weaknesses in the professional competence of (some of) those participating?
Are (some) people who are silent members being silenced because of the power of (some of) those 'professional' 'contributors', who - because of dogmatic statements, from people perceived to be more accomplished, experienced, knowledgeable - are being repressive in their impact? Is silence caused by domination or censorship a crime?
Many of the postings do contain quality information from the experience and beliefs of the individuals making them. In many instances they also contain links to sites concerned with the topic of the posting and in some cases multiple links to sites concerning a topic.
I request all members to participate in the discussion so that we all can gain. Lets share our knowledge so that all can grow.
Looking forward to your comments.
