Please help. Some our employees are using the internet to see unethical sites. they come in the weekend stating that there is work and then watch unethical sites.

We have logs of few people to prove this. but as this is for the first time, we do not want this to be embarassing for them and so we would like to issue a memo to them to give them a warning.

Please help me if you have a format which is being used as an organisational practice in your company.

First of all you need to have a documented policy in place which clearly states that viewing of unethical sites is not permitted on office PC's. Post this a simple letter giving the log details will suffice as a warning letter. Your organisation might take a stand of termination of employement on repeat view of unethical sites.

Keep a track on sites usually explore by employee with help of It department and lock all such sites.

then route this through their HODs , a sort of verbal warning . In the meantime issue a circular explaning that it has been observed that quite a feqw wmployees are exploring sites for their personal work during official hrs.

also provide net connectivity on required Pcs.
