Action Plan
•If your energy is flagging, kick-start it by brainstorming 10 things that inspire you, whether it was a country you have visited, your family or friends or an interest outside of work. Find photos or draw pictures to remind yourself and pin them on a notice board near your desk. Alternatively, spend a few minutes listening to a piece of music that you love when you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed.

•Ensure that your team has a broad and balanced mix of talents by recruiting a combination of analytical and energetic minds. Note how they complement and enhance each other. Focus on this whenever you are involved in recruiting for your team.

•Help to energise your team members by finding out what inspires them. Ask them about their interests, their holidays and hobbies.

•Offer colleagues the option of learning a language or a new skill, and encourage development outside of the usual work-related topics.
