I work for an IT company which but the irony is that the main reason for attrition is salary which is not the total CTC but the take home salary.
Our current structure comprises of fixed & variable component. Variable is not an issue because that's in the hands of employees to earn for himself/herself.
The biggest concern is fixed component which does not have any tax friendly components. Our management says that the reimbursements will be allowed only if there is some way of assuring them that the bills submitted by employee would not be valid & not forged.
Also, i would like to know as to how we can have tax friendly structure designed so that the take home is maximum, keeping in mind both parties benefit.
