Dear all,

Would appreciate if the members can guide me on the legal perspective on retrenchment of the staff employees.

The legal requirements as mentioned in the ID Act mostly refer to the workers and VRS scheme is drafted based on this. Is VRS is also applicable to the staff employees as well?.

What are the recommended retrenchment or severance pay to be paid off to staff employees ( min salary Rs 2.0 Lacs p.a.) with respect to the Indian law ?

Thanks,

Prabhakar
