Hi,

We are in process of starting the IDP (Individual Development Plans) exercise for superior performers in the company.

I would really appreciate if you can share any guideline document or your inputs about the following;

How to go about creating an IDP?
What all needs to be captured in an IDP?
What is tracked in IDP and how it is tracked?

An early response will be of great help.

Debradutta

I feel that there should be Career Development Plan (CDP) for every single employee and not just selected few. It will reduce attrition in your company.

CDP starts with SWOT Analysis, identifying competencies for every single level and then grooming the individuals for higher level positions by imbibing the required competencies in them.

Thanks,

Kaushal
