Hi,

I have been asked to come up/find a questionnaire which will help us evaluate a candidate’s Analytical and Logical Skills.

Please advise on what kind of questions should it entail.

Hi Ayaan,

Aptitude testing will help to evaluate candidate's Analytical and Logical skills.

Aptitude test will evaluate candidate's:

1. Verbal Ability
2. Numerical Ability
3. Logical Ability
4. Spatial Ability
5. Pattern Recognition Skills

One need to be very clear of using a tool for testing Aptitude. In most cases, people think that just by pooling up of few questions related to these ability will be enough to evaluate these skills. But, it is to be noted that designing of such a tool has a very strict research methodology behind its development. Only a standardized test will help to evaluate the Aptitude correctly, as the norms would be clearly established for the standardized test. It is always advised adopt a standardized tool for evaluating these skills to avoid misinterpretation and flaws.
