I need your help in how to make a salary survey. What are the steps, rules and procedures to be taken.

Hi Kumar,

There are consulting firms specializing in Salary benchmarks. It would be very difficult to conduct salary benchmark on your own as you need to have access to competitors, similar organisations to get information about their designations, bands, salary range etc.

Some of the firms that specialize in the same are: Hewitt Associates, Hay Group,
Watson Wyatt & Mercer.
