Dear community,

For the sake of discussion; can we please throw some light on "From an organization perspective, what is termed to be an healthy attrition?" and "What % can be regarded as a threshold for an healthy attrition % for rollover of talent - in and out?"

Seeking forth to your views.

Anything that needs self renewal must go through a process of regeneration. Organization should  plan atleast for the low 10% of people in PIP and out of that a min of 5% can be looked for healthy attrition to allow fresh, dyanamic blood in the organization.

Hi All,

Below 5% attrirition can be good sake for organization. I do analyse attrition in my company.

Healthy attiriton is also a far vision of most MNCs however least companies get succeed in this. Employees/Workers are most valuable assets of any establishment. For this organization adopts policies or guidlines in favor of employees. But the basic concern is how employees are satisfied with work culture, job security, pay scales to survive thier basic requirements. And how far the companies guidelines/policies are in favor of employees.

Bench marking, decent performance appraisal system/method, good learning environment, better job prospectous and requisite training programmes etc. are the key points to keep attrition percentage low and bring healthy attrition.

Please put or add your valuable remarks.

 Totaly Depend on nature of business and size of company, a manufacturing firm with a manpor of 25 can not afford 5% attrition, but for bigger organization 5-10% attrition rate is healthy.

The frequent attrition in the area of critical to quality or business is not healthy. It depends on the nature of business. I would say it is affordable to have high attrition rate in the area where you cannot enlarge the job or there is no more scope on the career advancement.
