Hi,

I have been into IT recruitment for last 3 years. I want move to hardcore HR function. What is the best way to learn other aspects of HR like T&D, Compensation, Perfomance Appraisal etc. so that I can keep myself update with the things & can apply for the same.

How do I go about this...? What books I should read..? Kindly let me know the ways to update myself so that I can call myself as HR pro.

i will be thankful if any one can help me in that.

Thanks in advance.
Wilfred

Books like Human Resource Mgt by Garry Dessler or Bohlander or Mathis etc are good. Read Jr French n Bell for Organziation Development and Stephen Robbins for Org Theory, Structure, Design n Applications.
