I am appearing for my HR certification in December, so was curious as to how to put the certification credential (once passed) on my resume? Should it be after your name or in some other way?

Apt to  use your name (comma) (credential).

You can include in your resume as a certification mentioning the passing details like month/year you passed the test.  I have seen people using the same on their business cards and e-mails as well.

All the best.
