Is retired employee eligible for gratuity?

Dear all,

An employee from our company has recently retired after working for 5 years. While I am preparing his full and final settlement, I want to know if he is entitled to recieve gratuity and whether our company has to initiate any action from our side on the same?

Hi

if it is the normal cse of superannuation where he full fill criteria under payment of Gratuity Act thanit is require to pay him Gratuity.
