Change & Be Grateful by Raman Bharadwaj
Change is word is a given in all of our lives. As we grow, change will occur in both our inner and outer worlds. Many times we see changes as threats. We become pessimistic towards the idea of newness, or we allow ourselves to remain within comfort zones to avoid the risk of failure.
The bamboo that bends is stronger than the oak that resists. ---Japanese Proverb
The word change asks you to view change as an open invitation to enjoy the fullest potential of the present moment. Resisting change means resisting growth. Don't let uncertainty prevent you from making the necessary changes to persue your dreams. Those who succeed are the those who take chances, and that means not only accepting change, but embracing it as a gift - a tool for turning your visions into reality.
Focus on a goal and the changes you need to make to get you to that goal. What changes have you been resisting and why? Explore ways to get yourself through any doubts or fears, and empower yourself by making a comittment to work towards these changes each day. And be grateful to whoever has helped you in this process of change.
GRATITUDE
I AM SO GRATEFUL for living by my own standards. No longer looking to others for validation I expend my energies on what I believe in, Accepting people for who they are Makes my life much happier for me. I AM SO GRATEFUL for perking myself up. Singing about sunshine makes me shine inside, When I smile others seem to be smiling too. Making others happy is waht I try to do, Giving back the joy that's been given to me. I AM SO GRATEFUL for a happy-go-lucky disposition. By choosing to see the brighter side of life A positive outlook is ever present, It's nothing more than a balancing act And a trick keeping all the balls in the air.
