Change management in Senior Level Employees

Dear All,

I am working in medium size IT company. In our compnay, near 100 employees are working. In that 100, 10-12 members represent senior level  who are responsible for managing teams. But there is very low level of intergirity in our senior teams due to thier Ego & some other problems. We are looking and planning to break this ice and to change thier attitute in this.

Could you any guide me how to handle this and any group activity which will  increase thier involvement more.

Krishnan

Re: Change management in Senior Level Employees

Hi!

I have been in OD for the last two years and my advice would to arrange employee engagement workshop where these senior level management people are specially invited not only to share their views with the employees but also answer their queries on any topic related to their work. A good Trainer may be hired for this purpose who could sucessfully engage both Management and employees through some activities, quizzes and role playing. I think in this way employees will feel privileged and Management will reap the benefits in terms of higher productivity.

Re: Change management in Senior Level Employees

Professional ego and competetion is something which we have to live with. Successfull organisations with proper leadership do not have this problem as mentioned.

There shall be no problems in those organisations where talent is respected irrespective of your status, position or background. Career growith should be well defined. The seniors should respect the entire team. Proper delegation should be given for all senior level employees and there should always be a healthy competeion by providing a level playing field.
