I am working on a project on defining the  competencies required for entry level management  jobs, typically management trainees. i request you  to kindly share your views on what are the technical  and behavioural competencies required for finance,  HR and marketing MTs for jobs in both the  manufacturing and service sector companies.

Dear Rekha

Being an MT myself, i feel irrespective of one's functional area certain competencies which are critical to all MT'S are :

- Team skills(most talked about yet very difficult)
- Energy/Enthusiasm
- Open to learning/a quick learner/inquisitive
- Multi project handling
- Good communication skills

The list is exhaustive...members please opine.
