Dear Colleagues, In our office an employee was not performing well. We have given him offer to work with our other sister concerns, which he has refused.
We have sacked him as it is affecting office atmosphere.
He was on probation and completed his probation period, but due to his bad performance he was not issued confirmation letter.
According, to the Appointment letter, the clause is there that the employee is on probation, unless given confirmation in writing. Therefore, he was terminated without given notice period.
Now he has refused to accept the termination letter and demand Notice Period.
Kindly suggest me how should I go forward since this is the first case in our company. Regards
