Dear HR Gurus,

My Boss asked me to do position analysis for the organization but i have never done it before.

I would really appreciate if all can provide me with your valuable inputs on Position Analysis.

any position in any business organisation shall be linked to the business goals of the organisation directly or indirectly first categories positions into Corporate Services, Support Services and Technical Services See each position in relation to business goal of each function in which it exist

remember that any analysis is done for a purpose. I do not know the purpose for which your boss wanted you to do this it might be to find out the competencies needed to man the position or to evaluate the position so that you can structure compensation accordingly, etc.

so be clear about the purpose and do the analysis accordingly.
