Basis for confirmation

Hi,

We are working on Policies in our organisation. This present situation of recession in the industry has led to disucussion whether recession can be one of the grounds for extension of probationary period.

Kindly give your valuable inputs.

Hi Praveena S

The present situation of recession in the industry can not be grounds for extension of probationary period.

I understand employees confirmation is basecd on his  individual Performance &  terms /conditions of Employement keeping in mind Labour law as well.

However, a memorandam of settlement must be done  on a stamp paper of  rupees 100 after mutual agreement with employees regarding salary reduction to manage cost etc. to over come recession troubles.

Dear Mr.Mahesh k Prasad,

Thank you very much for the inputs.

I look forward to understand the practices in other companies in similar situation.

Though at the moment we are talking of pay-cut is there any other method to review confirmation at a later stage.
