Hi All,

This is rather urgent.

I need to gather information on Training Techniques and Various/ Latest Training Evaluation Techniques, used in organizations with regards to the Indian Corporate Scene.

I require the following.

Information on websites that contain material on the above, and/or provide links to other websites for the same.

Write Ups on TRG Evaluation Techniques, practiced in India and abroad.

How would one go about using and implemting these techniques.

Any help recd would be highly Appreciated.

Hi Paresh,

I believe you are looking for:

1. Different intervention designs to bring about performance improvements, and
2. Different strategies to quantify such improvements.
3. You also are looking for examples from Indian organizations. Not sure I can help with this one. By definition, any Co. with PCMM Level 3 and above should be doing it. But I don't know who all are there.
4. You are looking at these with the intention of presenting them within your organization to certain decision makers with the purpose of implementing such practices in your organization.

Did I get you right?

The subject that deals with the first 2 areas is called Human Performance Technology. Go to www.ispi.org for some introductory ideas. They treat training as just one of several things that can be done to improve performance. Very holistic. I believe in and work in this area.

2. Critical incident method
3. Cost benefit analysis
4. Reactionnaire (also called Happy sheet)
5. Questionnaire mention
6. Written test
7. Repertory Grid
8. Interview mention
