Re: Best practices in manufacturing industry

Change Management : Need to change the policy. Make everyone aware & involved. Create an environment. Make a promotion policy to really mean it.

If the job is done to suit the Job Describtion normalincreament.

If he shares the job of subordinate no increament, as he is not using his full potential.

If he shares the job of his Boss, he can be considered for no increament, as he is using his full potential. It he repeats this, the promotion.

This will make everyone work with competition & urge to grow. Dead woods the can be identified. Work culture will definitely change. Future leaders will emerge. Self development will start.

Re: Best practices in manufacturing industry

Dear friends,

Starting a open platform of discussions once in two months period for 15-20 minutes wherein all employees shall participate is agood tool as you can address the progress, success, achievements of individuals / groups / sections to masses and it is appreciated most as all employees get this communication in a flash. we had experimented this in our organisation and got good response. in such discussions you can also declare a goal / target for the groups/ depts. Just avoid to criticise the individuals in such meetings as it hurts them more.
