Re: Head hunting

Headhunt is a process by which a HR person lures a performing employee working in some other company to work for his company. This can be generally worked out only when the nature of business of both the companies are same or rivals.

The best way to contact that performing employee is, through a common friend in social or professional gatherings or a causal talk over phone and through E-mail.

With Regards

Re: Head hunting

Head hunting is a indirect method of luring high performers. This is generally through social network of an HR Professional. Here direct concentration is on some specific segment, sector, qualities or work profile.

Generally head hunting is done within competing companies ie where business is similar.

Re: Head hunting

Head hunting would mean to target the companies where you will find right kind of prospective candidate, try to source their contact details and then approach them with the offer you have.

Re: Head hunting

Hd Hunting is possible and very eassy when the HR professional knows which are the compititors of his nature of bussiness and which compititor has come up very sharply during last couple of years.

If it is known to HR professional then he can hire some consultant as mediator and inform him which candidate he is looking for and should be contacted.
