pay package for HR person is low

i feel that the package given to HR specialization is less as compared to marketing or finance specialized person .Although we pay the same amount of fees, same amount of hardwork as compared to other specialization we get llow package jobs with a bond of 5 years.

Hi,

 I have gone thru your post and agree that even I felt same way intially in my career however, based on your own performance & harwork you can surely supass your peers from other streams.

Yes in intial years it is low.But as you move up the ladder it becomes at par...............you just need to be good at it..............................

It also depends on the kind of profile. Your role that you perform must be extremely diverse wherein you have an exposure within all sectors and HR. It would be an added advantage if you have technological knowledge, i.e. any HRMS knowledge. Peoplesoft and SAP understanding and certifications pays back a lot, though the course is expensive.

Hi,

Well it is true that pay package in HR is low but only in the intial segment. As one grow the ladder on the basis of Job profile, Experience & Hardwork salary band increases.

Also High Package is offered on the basis of Qualification to many HR professionals.
