I am working on changing policy for notice period. Would like to know the notice period duration within various IT MNCs..

In general ,the answer to most of the above issues raised by you would dpend upon the terms & conditions of employment and the appointment letter clauses .

However I think it is better to seek legal opinion as there is so much of fine print in such issues.

Dear Concerned,

It varies from organization to organizations or Country to Country. Like in Bangladesh, if a permanent employees would like to resign, he/she shall require to serve 60 days prior notice to the organization. However, the industry practice is 30 days notice.
