I’m working on a dissertation on engagement and personality and am fascinated by the topic. I think one area that is being forgotten in the engagement discussion is that of “fit” or whether the person, simply put, is in the right position, the position he or she was “born for.” This means that one important activity for engagement awareness is that of assessing personality, interests, and talents, and then contrasting those with the requirements of a particular job, the culture of the organization, and other environmental characteristics.
I’m curious on your comments and ideas on this topic?
This is really nice that you are going develop employee engagement actiivities. To increase productivity at work employee engagement related initiatives is a must. There are various ways, you can engage employees:
- Arrange Employee Events
- Set up employee facilities (Recreation Center, Child Care, Canteen, Medical Center)
- Conduct different Surveys among employees
- Celebrate important occasions (Employee Birthdays, International and National Days)

Employee engagement activities serve a lot to curb attrition and create a sense of belongingness among the employees.But the activities that each company would prefer would vary based on their culture, values, financial status etc...You can have costume/ theme parties, fun quizes, appreciation mails, appreciation gifts.outings, gift coupons etc
