Dear community,

For the sake of discussion; can we please throw some light on "From an organization perspective, what is termed to be an healthy attrition?" and "What % can be regarded as a threshold for an healthy attrition % for rollover of talent - in and out?"

Seeking forth to your views.

In my experience, it is not the number of people leaving the organization it is the quality of the people and their skills and experience that is lost to the employer. If good people are leaving, perhaps it is time to initiate employees surveys and exit interviews/ survey to discover the underlying cause(s) of the defections.

While a face to face exit interview is stressful to both parties, an option is the exit survey mailed to the home, with a return envelope included, addresseds to "Consultant" at a mail drop not near the company. The results will be more open and honest than an interview.
